Under Milk Wood

The inhabitants of a sleepy Welsh town share their stories and set Dylan Thomas’ poetry in motion.

Dylan Thomas’ Under Milk Wood is a love letter to a nation; a lyrical, humorous, and deeply moving portrait of a small Welsh seaside town as it stirs from night into day. Through the dreams and daily lives of its eccentric residents—Captain Cat, Polly, Garter, Mr. Pugh, and more—Thomas weaves a spellbinding tale of love, longing, and the poetry of everyday life.

Originally written as a “play for voices”, this masterpiece brings the fictional town of Llareggub to life through rich, rhythmic language and unforgettable characters. A celebration of the ordinary made extraordinary, Under Milk Wood is an experience not to be missed.
